1. About My Crafty Business
My Crafty Business is an educational business created by Deb McDevitt. It provides digital courses, guides, worksheets, templates, examples, business-planning tools, community access, and related educational resources for creative-event and craft-business operators. Support questions may be sent to deb@mycraftybusiness.com.
2. Eligibility and authority
Purchasers must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you purchase for a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Educational purpose; no professional advice
My Crafty Business provides education, examples, planning tools, and customizable communications. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, clinical, childcare, alcohol-service, insurance, engineering, or other licensed professional advice. You remain responsible for obtaining professional advice and complying with laws, permits, contracts, insurance requirements, venue rules, and safety obligations applicable to your activities.
4. No income, booking or business-result guarantee
No income, profit, booking, customer, venue, lead, attendance, sales, cost-recovery, or business-success result is promised or guaranteed. Examples are illustrative, not forecasts. You independently choose your materials, suppliers, expenses, prices, discounts, marketing, event terms, and implementation decisions. You may earn no profit.
5. Products, descriptions and access
The description shown at checkout identifies the product or access being purchased. Product names, bundles, bonuses, features, formats, availability, and prices may change prospectively. Unless the product description expressly states otherwise, purchasing one product does not include every current or future My Crafty Business product, course, membership benefit, update, or bonus.
Digital access may be provided through download links, email, Skool, or another delivery platform. You are responsible for using the correct email address, maintaining access to your account, and saving downloadable files when instructed.
6. Orders, prices, taxes and payment authorization
Prices are shown before authorization and may include applicable taxes or platform charges. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment processor or platform to charge the one-time amount shown for that checkout. We may correct obvious pricing, product-mapping, duplicate-charge, or delivery errors.
7. One-time digital purchases are not recurring billing
Unless a checkout expressly identifies a separate recurring membership, each My Crafty Business digital product, course, collection, or Complete Blueprint purchase is a one-time purchase charged once at the price shown. Current digital-product checkouts do not use installment plans and do not create recurring billing obligations. A separate paid membership, if selected, is governed by the Membership & Recurring Billing Terms.
8. Prior purchases, bundle upgrades and promotional credits
The Complete Blueprint is sold as a separate bundled product at its stated package price. Purchases of individual courses, programs, add-ons, templates or smaller collections do not ordinarily reduce, offset or receive credit toward the price of the Complete Blueprint. Because the Complete Blueprint includes products also sold separately, a later Blueprint purchase may include content the customer already owns. Prior purchases are not refundable, transferable or retroactively credited except where required by applicable law or where My Crafty Business provides a specific written promotional upgrade offer.
A written promotional upgrade offer may provide a limited credit toward the Complete Blueprint. Any such offer is one-time, customer-specific, nontransferable, valid only for the period and purchase identified in the written offer, and cannot be combined with another discount, credit or promotion unless the offer expressly says otherwise. No promotional credit exists unless it is stated in writing by My Crafty Business.
Seven-day Complete Blueprint upgrade offer. If the original purchaser buys an eligible My Crafty Business individual program or collection and requests an upgrade within seven calendar days of the first eligible purchase, My Crafty Business will credit the eligible amount actually paid during that window toward the $490 Complete Blueprint. The request must be emailed from the checkout address to deb@mycraftybusiness.com before the seven-day window expires and must include the receipt number and the words “Complete Blueprint upgrade.” Eligible amounts are net of discounts, refunds, disputes, taxes and membership fees; multiple eligible purchases during the same window may be combined, up to $490. The credit has no cash value, cannot exceed the Blueprint price, may be used once by the original purchaser and does not apply automatically at the regular $490 checkout. My Crafty Business will verify eligibility and send a written adjusted checkout offer with its own payment deadline.
Customers are encouraged to compare package inclusions before purchasing individual products. Customers expecting to use several programs may receive the best overall value by purchasing the Complete Blueprint first.
9. Recurring memberships are separate
A recurring membership renews at the amount and interval shown at checkout until canceled under the Membership & Recurring Billing Terms. A free community membership does not authorize future paid charges. Paid recurring billing requires separate affirmative authorization.
10. Refunds, delivery problems and disputes
Digital-product refunds, duplicate charges, delivery errors, inaccessible files, payment-processing issues, and dispute procedures are governed by the current Digital Product Refund, Delivery & Access Policy. Membership cancellations and membership refunds are governed by the Membership & Recurring Billing Terms. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to waive.
11. Customer license and intellectual property
Purchasing a product gives you a limited customer-use license, not ownership of the course or files. The Copyright Notice & Customer Use License controls copying, sharing, templates, spreadsheets, source files, employee/contractor access, and prohibited competitive uses. Designated marketing templates may be customized only for the purchaser’s own business as described in that license.
12. Community and Skool conduct
Use community areas respectfully and lawfully; no harassment, threats, fraud, spam, unlawful content, or infringement.
Do not share another member’s private information, downloads, paid content, or messages without permission.
Do not use the community to make misleading earnings claims or to recruit members into unrelated schemes.
We may remove content, restrict access, or remove a member for material rule violations, subject to applicable law and platform capabilities.
13. Third-party platforms and services
We may use services such as Skool, Stripe, email providers, video-conferencing tools, social platforms, analytics tools, and file-delivery services. Their availability, technical features, security, payment processing, and separate terms are outside our direct control. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent outage, policy change, or account action, but we will reasonably address our own delivery obligations and errors.
14. Reviews, testimonials and endorsements
Testimonials and examples must reflect genuine experiences and may not be altered or presented in a misleading way. No testimonial establishes a typical or guaranteed financial result. Affiliates and other compensated promoters must disclose their relationship clearly and follow the Affiliate Program Terms and Affiliate Marketing & Disclosure Guide.
15. Your events, services and business decisions
My Crafty Business does not become your event organizer, venue operator, partner, employer, agent, insurer, alcohol provider, childcare provider, security provider, or safety supervisor. You control your own business and are responsible for your venues, participants, materials, staff, contractors, marketing, contracts, pricing, taxes, licenses, insurance, safety procedures, and customer obligations.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access or terminate a license or membership for fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful use, serious community misconduct, unauthorized sharing, infringement, or other material breach. Termination does not erase payment obligations already incurred or rights that accrued before termination. Access decisions remain subject to non-waivable law and the applicable refund or membership policy.
17. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, products and services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that are not expressly stated in writing. We do not warrant uninterrupted platform operation, specific business results, regulatory approval, venue acceptance, or suitability for every location, participant, age group, or event.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Crafty Business and Deb McDevitt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from business decisions, lost profits, lost opportunities, event cancellations, third-party conduct, venue conditions, product misuse, or unauthorized reliance on educational examples. Where a monetary limitation is permitted, aggregate liability for a claim relating to a particular paid product will not exceed the amount actually paid to My Crafty Business for that product during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
19. Responsibility for your own conduct
You are responsible for claims, losses, or obligations arising from your own events, services, materials, staff, marketing, contracts, unlawful conduct, or violation of these Terms. Nothing here requires you to indemnify My Crafty Business for My Crafty Business’s own negligence or misconduct where such a requirement would be unlawful.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively as the business, catalog, platforms, or law changes. The version presented or linked at the time of a purchase or enrollment governs that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise. Material changes to ongoing paid memberships will be communicated reasonably before they take effect where required.
21. Governing law and non-waivable rights
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer-protection rights and jurisdictional rules that cannot legally be waived remain in effect.
22. Severability and entire agreement
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated at checkout, form the agreement governing the purchase or use at issue. A sales statement that conflicts with these written terms is not authorized.
